Women's Reproductive and Healthcare Rights

It’s been seven years since I attended a rally in support of the protection of women’s reproductive and healthcare rights. In 2022 the people of Kansas loudly and clearly expressed their support to protect women's healthcare. We should be moving forward to ensure that these rights are defended and maintained rather than squandering time and resources with bills that penalize healthcare providers.

As a grandmother of an adopted child I value life, but I am a firm believer that women’s reproductive and healthcare rights must be protected at all costs. I believe that a woman’s healthcare decisions are a private matter and that treatment should be totally confidential between herself and family (when necessary) and her physician. I believe that all medical discussions between the patient and physician should be private and protected by law.
